Keep Austin Playing

Keep Austin Playing is a city-wide interactive event that is put on through the Austin Parks and Recreation Department on July 14, 2016. Keep Austin Playing was created by the Austin Parks and Recreation Department to enrich, educate and empower the Austin Community to cultivate healthy lifestyle changes and to celebrate National Parks & Recreation month!



The Austin Parks and Recreation programs and parks create healthy, active and sustainable communities. Come learn about community wide programs that offer fun recreational activities for kids.

In addition to the informational booths, interactive games and healthy programs for kids, Keep Austin Playing highlights include:
  • Portable climbing wall
  • Inflatable batting cage
  • Bike rodeo
  • Human foosball
  • Obstacle course
  • Corn hole
  • Tailgate games
  • Prizes and MORE! 
This fun, family-friendly event is open to the public and is for all ages.

COST: FREE with Free Parking Available
